Travelling from Lisbon International Airport

By train: You can take a taxi or the Lisbon Metro (opens at 06:30 and closes at 01h00) from the airport to the "Oriente" train station. The trip should take around 10 minutes, but for the taxi it may vary depending on traffic conditions. "Oriente" trains to Coimbra are frequent (your destination will be Coimbra-B station). You should choose one of the following type of trains: the IC, Inter Cidades, that makes a few stops in major cities before Coimbra or the AP, Alfa Pendular, which is faster and more comfortable than the first one. By bus: The easiest way is to take a taxi from the airport to the bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Sete Rios).
